# Terms & Conditions of Business
David Wike Business Development is committed to high levels of customer service and satisfaction and will make every reasonable effort to ensure that you are satisfied with our services. We prefer to operate on the basis of common sense and reasonableness. However, there are few key legal points below that you should read, particularly with respect to payment terms. The laws of England will apply.
We will not commence any work until we receive written (electronic or paper) confirmation that you wish to employ us. We will consider that confirmation to be a contract and will invoice you for any work undertaken thereafter.
.
We are not rich, we are not a bank, we do not give credit. Please do not ask us to undertake work for you if you are not able to comply with our payment terms.
Payment in full is due 30 days from invoice date. In the case of late payment, we will invoke the provisions of the Late Payments of Commercial Debts Act 2002 and claim interest payment and reasonable administration costs. E
xtended contracts, will be invoiced on a monthly basis.
.
.
For public training courses or business development workshops, places will be limited and will only be reserved when a deposit of 50% of the course/workshop fee is received. The balance is due one month before the course/workshop. If booking within one month of the course/workshop date, the full fee is required. If you should have to cancel subsequently, your payment(s) will be forfeit, although we will make every effort to re-allocate your place to enable us to refund you, with any reasonable administration costs deducted. If for whatever reason we are forced to cancel a course or workshop, we will refund you in full or reschedule it if you prefer. In the event of cancellation or postponement, we shall not be liable for any other expenses incurred by the attendees.
At all times we will endeavour to provide good quality services, information and advice in good faith. However, you should always check any information before acting on it as we cannot be held responsible for its accuracy. You
know your organisation and its requirements better than we do, therefore it is your responsibility to determine whether our advice is appropriate and to apply it accordingly.
.
It is your responsibility to ensure that any training course or business development workshop selected is suitable and appropriate and that the participant has the necessary level of competence to be able to achieve the course/workshop objectives.
.
If at any time you are unhappy with our work, please call us and we will have a grown-up conversation to resolve the problem.
